VSR is happy to announce that Michael Krug continues his work at our group. He will support our group as a research associate. His research will contribute to Web Engineering, Service Infrastructures and the OMELETTE project within the FP7 research program. We welcome our new and old team member and look forward to his contributions.

On Thursday, October 27th, at 14:30, one of our students will defend his diploma thesis 'Entwicklung einer Multi-Touch-Anwendung zur Unterstützung agiler Softwareentwicklungsmethoden'. Room: 1/368

The lecture 'Architektur Verteilter Systeme' on Tuesday, 18 October 2011, is cancelled. It will be rescheduled to a later date.

The poster "Integrating Human-Services using WebComposition/UIX" by Olexiy Chudnovskyy, Sebastian Brandt and Martin Gaedke has been accepted for the 12th International Middleware Conference (Middleware 2011) taking place from December 12th to 16th, 2011 in Lisbon, Portugal.

On Thursday, 13th of October, Stefan Pietschmann, a guest researcher from TU Dresden, will present results of his PhD thesis with the topic "Modellgetriebene Entwicklung adaptiver, komponentenbasierter Mashups". The presentation is public and will take place at 13:15 in room 1/368. We welcome everyone interested in the topic and look forward for an inspiring discussion.

VSR is happy to announce that Philipp Reichelt has recently joined our group as a technical staff member. He will support our team by maintaining the infrastructure as well as setting up new services and applications. We welcome this new team member and look forward to his contributions.
