Our professorship participated in this year’s Girls’ Day at TU Chemnitz, offering young pupils an engaging introduction to university life and STEM through a hands-on workshop on artificial intelligence and conversational interfaces. The participants learned about chatbot interfaces and created their own chatbots with an editor (see picture).

Our team member Sebastian Heil gave a talk at the joint ELIAS ELLIOT and ENFIELD Theme Development Workshop on Trustworthy AI in which he presented ongoing work on the human perception of AI trust. The workshop brought together European AI experts to discuss ongoing research activities in the areas of frugality, fairness and trust.

At this year’s SaxFDM Tagung, our team members Jan Haas and Christoph Göpfert held a workshop titled “Natürlichsprachliche Abfrage forschungsdatenorientierter institutioneller Wissensgraphen mittels großer Sprachmodelle” in context of the HYP*MOL project.
