Learning and Knowledge Sharing

VSR students have the opportunity to regularly join an informal Learning and Knowledge Sharing (LAKS) meeting. As the name suggests, participants use the meeting to learn new knowledge, share their experiences, discuss and even present exciting topics.

The topics of LAKS are diverse, from technical challenges, hot trends in Web Engineering to academic writing, presentation best practices and so on. The students can also propose topics of interest or discuss any problems with their current projects with the other students to solve them faster.

LAKS works in an agile, unsupervised, self-organizing, facultative and open-space fashion. LAKS is designed to maximize the benefit for all participants, especially for the students who are doing or going to do a Master Thesis with VSR Professorship.
