Die Lehrveranstaltung fokussiert das Problem der Sicherheit in Rechnernetzen und den daran angeschlossenen Anwendungssystemen. Es werden Angriffsmöglichkeiten und Schwachstellen aufgezeigt, um daran anschließend Sicherheitskonzepte zu diskutieren.

Die Lehrveranstaltung umfasst:

  • Einführung in Identität, Gefahren, Risiken, Heilung und Sicherheit
  • Einführung in Methoden und Ansätze der Kryptographie
  • Identity & Access Management, z. B. Provisioning, Policies, Single Sign On (SSO), Directory Services, RBAC, 802.1X
  • Ansätze, Dienste und Werkzeuge zur Rechnernetz-Sicherheit, z.B. IPSec, Kerberos, Zertifikate, LDAP, RADIUS, Firewalls, IDS, Sniffer, Scanner
  • Anwendungsorientierte Sicherheit, z.B. bei Datenaustausch, Mail- und Web-Anwendungen
  • Management und Sicherheitsaspekte von drahtlosen lokalen Netzen
  • Föderation von Benutzerrechten, z.B. Shibboleth, WS-Federation, Liberty Alliance Project
  • Maßnahmen zur systematischen Planung, Ausführung und Überwachung der Sicherheit
  • Trends, z.B. Selbstmanagement, Selbstheilung

Qualification Objectives (German)

  • Grundlegendes Verständnis über Mechanismen zur Sicherung von Rechnersystemen sowie zum Identitäts- und Berechtigungsmanagement, sicherer Umgang mit XML-Anwendungen und Werkzeugen
  • Kennenlernen systematischer Ansätze für Sicherheit in verteilten Systemen
