Personal Information

About me

Matthias joined the Distributed and Self-organizing Systems Research Group in 2010 as an external Ph.D. student combining academic research with his job at SAP AG. He holds a Diploma degree (equivalent to M.Sc.) in Computer Science from Dresden University of Technology. His research interests include model-driven engineering, service-oriented architectures as well as web-based groupware systems. Since November 2010 he is pursuing his Ph.D. at Chemnitz University of Technology whereas his research focuses on real-time collaboration in web applications. In particular, he investigates efficient means to transform single-user web applications to collaborative ones. Matthias has written more than 20 scientific publications and received the Best Research Paper Award at ICWE 2012 as well as the Best Demo and Poster Award at ICWE 2013.
