Trust in Healthcare AI Presented at the ENFIELD Workshop

Our team member Sebastian Heil presented ongoing work on the public perception, trust, and acceptance of artificial intelligence in healthcare at the 2nd Artificial Intelligence in Healthcare Workshop in Athens, organized within the ENFIELD – AI Network of Excellence.

In the presentation, Ana Solange Leal and Sebastian summarized findings from previous studies and introduced the methodology of their ongoing cross-sectional study. The survey is currently being distributed to around 9,000 patients and customers of Lusíadas Saúde in Portugal and explores experiences with and attitudes toward AI tools in healthcare, focusing on trust, transparency, autonomy, control, and related concerns.
