The project ‘Cygnus’ deals with semantic navigation through distributed information sources. Its goal is to develop a semantic navigator for the users of the WWW who need assistance in finding relevant information. The semantic navigator is a tool that will consider the associations between the provided information to guide the user unlike existing navigation concepts which do not support the user in finding the requested information.
