Personal Information

About me

I was born 1978 in Karl-Marx-Stadt (now Chemnitz). After I finished secondary school I have made an education of becoming a technical assistant of informatics. In order to get more deeper knowledge I decided to study computer science at the University of applied science in Mittweida. I finshed my studies in December 2003. For 5 years i worked as a software engineer at Delta proveris AG in Limbach-Oberfrohna. I began to understand that humans are the most important part of software engineering. I recommend to read Tom DeMarco's Peopleware and The Deadline. They are one of the books that every software engineer should have read. In the face of my 30th birthday I decided to go back to university. I applied for the master programme "Automotive Software Engineering" and finished my studies in 2011 and graduated with a Master of Science. In January 2011 I joined the Distributed and Self-organizing Systems Research Group.

In my free time I like to play tennis and cycle ball. I am interested in arts and I am a member of Die jungen Freunde der Kunstsammlungen Chemnitz.
