Web Engineering

Traditional Web applications are usually consumed over one device such as PC, tablet or smartphone. In some scenarios, however, it is benefitial to use several devices, e.g., while watching video or controlling a presentation. A second device can improve usability of the application and enchance overall user experience.

This project should analyze existing approaches to convert single-device Web applications into multi-device ones. Relevant requirements and comparison criteria should be identifined and approaches should be compared. Possibilities of extension of SmartComposition platform with conversion algorithms should be explored.
