Abstract

While cloud computing has improved many workflows that deal with collaboration, the cloud is rarely used in the sector of e-Health applications. Therefore, we propose a scenario that can benefit from an introduction of cloud computing in e-Health. Based on this scenario we identified several challenges a system needs to deal with, such as protection of patient data records against access by third parties. In this paper we present our planned research to securely store patient data records in the cloud. We propose a first approach to deal with the identified requirements and describe our research methodology.
