Our external PhD student Christian Hochmuth successfully defended his PhD thesis “Strategic planning of technical capacity in complex production systems: mathematical optimization of graphical models with the software AURELIE” on 27 February 2020. ESF Young Researcher Group DYNAMIK started project

Our VSR professorship is part of the newly established ESF-funded Young Researcher Group DYNAMIK Within the next three years, we will do excellent research on a Dynamic navigation and orientation system for physicallyimpaired people in complex buildings, together with the Professorships for Circuit and System Design, Media Computer Science and Media Psychology.

Collaborative Research Center Hybrid Societies established

In January 2020, the CRC 1410 Hybrid Societies started its activities at Chemnitz University of Technology. Within this Collaborative Research Center, our VSR professorship leads the activities on a sustainable, cross-domamin information infrastructure together with the professorship for private law and intellectual property of Prof. Dr. Gesmann-Nuissl.

XML and CTWE lecture on 17 December 2019 postponed
