We are glad to announce that one of our students started working on project ” Iridium“. We look forward to his contributions.

The lectures ‘ Rechnernetze‘, ‘ Cloud & Web Anwendungen‘ and ‘ Sicherheit Verteilter Software‘ will start on Tuesday, the 22nd of April. The start of the tutorials will be announced in the first lectures and on the corresponding homepages. 

Our recent prototype about multi-screen mashups for media enrichment will be presented at  CeBIT 2014 in Hannover. Feel free to visit us at Hall 9, Stand B18.

On Wednesday, the 2nd of April, at 10:00 Matthias Heinrich will defend his PhD thesis ‘Enriching Web Applications Efficiently with Real-Time Collaboration Capabilities’. The defence will take place in the room 1/B006. We welcome everyone interested in the topic.

We are glad to announce that three of our students started working on project “waynamic” to create ‘ Artifical Recommendations based on the Social Web‘. We look forward to their contributions.

Please notice, that in WS13/14 the following exams will take place in the open book fashion: XML, EVS, SSE (PVS), SMWS (AVS), Rechnernetze and CWA (MVS). Softwareengineering Vertiefung will be a closed book exam. All of the exams are in writing.

On Tuesday, February 2nd, at 11:30, one of our students will defend his diploma thesis ‘ Aufbau von Content-Management-Systemen mittels User Interface Mashups‘ in room 1/336.

The lecture “SMWS” (Social Media and Web Science) on Tuesday, January 7th, 2014 is cancelled. It will be rescheduled – the new date will be announced later.
