Our VSR team member Sebastian Heil is currently attending WISE 2016in Shanghai, an International Conference on Web Information Systems Engineering. We there present a joint work on “Measuring and Ensuring Similarity of User Interfaces: the Impact of Web Layout” together with Max Maxim Bakaev from the Novosibirsk State Technical University.

We are glad to announce that three of our students started working on project ” Tungsten – A process-driven Knowledge Application“. We look forward to their contributions.

This is to inform you that the tutorials for our lectures EVS, SSE and  XML will start in the last week of October, meaning 10/26/2016 and 10/28/2016. You can find the detailed room information in our EDU section.

On Wednesday, October 19th, at 14:00, one of our students will defend his master thesis ‘ Hybrid SaaS/Distributed Desktop Applications‘ in room 1/336.

Recently, our team member André Langer visited the annual Dev Open Space in Leipzig from 10/14/2016 to 10/16/2016 and gained lots of new experience for our team regarding ECMAScript2016and current trends in IoT.  We also hosted two own sessions related to Soft Skill Development for Developers and IT professionals such as Smart Presentation Techniques.
