The aim of this practical course is to systematically analyse interaction elements of chatbots.
For this purpose, a data set is to be created that contains a collection of the chatbots used in German municipalities. Of these, the interaction elements used, the type of chatbot used and other meaningful characteristics are to be analysed and subsequently evaluated. This also includes an analysis of the combinations in which the respective interaction elements are used.
As a result of the research internship, a high-level prototype should also be created that represents the best combination of interaction elements based on the analysis.
The practical course can also be combined with a subsequent Master's thesis.

Ziel dieses Forschungspraktikums ist es, systematisch Interaktionselemente von Chatbots zu untersuchen.
Dazu soll ein Datenset erstellt werden, das eine Sammlung der eingesetzten Chatbots in deutschen Kommunen beinhaltet. Von diesen sollen die verwendeten Interaktionselemente, die Art des eingesetzten Chatbots und weitere sinnvolle Charakteristiken analysiert und anschließend ausgewertet werden. Dies beinhaltet auch eine Analyse, in welchen Kombinationen die jeweiligen Interaktionselemente verwendet werden.
Als Ergebnis des Forschungspraktikums soll zusätzlich ein high level Prototyp erstellt werden, der die aus der Analyse heraus beste Kombination an Interaktionselementen darstellt.
Das Forschungspraktikum kann auch mit einer anschließenden Masterarbeit verbunden werden.
