Description

In the recent years, Internet of Things (IoT) and the Web of Things (WoT) have been a current interest and has received close attention in the technology community. The increase in use of smart devices have already changed the way people live, ranging from interactive smart homes to smart parking systems in cities. One of the main goals of WoT is to enable end users to exploit the diverse behaviors of these smart devices and be able to control/monitor and compose them to create new, added-value services. Ontologies have been widely developed to represent different IoT knowledge and provide semantic interoperability. Among the existing WoT ontologies, WoTDL (Web of Things Description Language) is an ontology for describing WoT environments for automatic composition.
