Description
The multi-touch technology of Microsoft PixelSense 1.0 (former Surface) as well as its original couch-table design enable unique user experience while interacting with software. Collaborative work is facilitated by a large display and recognition of up to 52 simultaneous touch points. The team project should develop a Microsoft PixelSense-based widget-mashup platform for collaborative composition of scattered data and functionality. The focus lies on usability of the software as well as on control of the data being transferred between the widgets.

Microsoft PixelSense 1.0 (ehem. Surface) ermöglicht dank seiner Multi-Touch-Technologie sowie dem originellen Aufbau in Form eines Couch-Tisches ein einzigartiges Nutzererlebnis bei Interkation mit Software. Das kollaborative Arbeiten wird durch große Bildschirmoberfläche sowie Erkennung von bis zu 52 gleichzeitiger Berührungspunkte gefördert. Im Rahmen des Projektes soll für den Microsoft PixelSense eine Widget-Mashup-Plattform zur kollaborativen Aggregation von Informationen und Werkzeugen gebaut werden. Der Fokus soll auf der intuitiven Bedienung der Plattform sowie der Kontrolle über die zwischen den Widgets ausgetauschten Informationen liegen.
