Contents

“XML and Data Technologies for the Web” is a specialized module that focuses on key technologies such as XML, Semantic Web, knowledge graphs, and JSON. It imparts a sound understanding of the development and application of these technologies in the design of modern, data-driven web applications. The students learn the principles of data modeling, data manipulation, and transformation, explore advanced concepts such as Linked Data, and investigate the application of knowledge graphs for information structuring and retrieval. Through a combination of theory and practice-oriented projects, the module offers a deep insight into the possibilities and challenges of applying and integrating data in distributed systems.

Qualification Objectives

Students are able to competently apply advanced technologies for data on the web, such as XML, JSON, the Semantic Web, as well as Linked Data and knowledge graphs. They acquire skills in data modeling, the development of data-intensive applications, as well as approaches to data analytics and knowledge management in the context of artificial intelligence.
