Dr.-Ing. Stefan Wild

Summary

Dipl.-Inf. Stefan Wild is a researcher at Technische Universität Chemnitz in Germany and member of the chair for Distributed and Self-organizing Systems at the Department of Computer Science. He participated in the European Commission FP7 project OMELETTE and contributed to various project proposals including FP7 TRUSTBRICKS.

Prior to that position, he worked for several years as a software developer at IBM Germany R&D in the department of system and performance evaluation of Linux on IBM System z. He was responsible for design and implementation of software for continuous quality assurance of the well-known GCC open source compiler and related programs running on Linux on IBM System z. In this context, he developed key infrastructure components of an internal solution for automated testing and performance analysis.

His research focuses on Trustworthy Social Networks. He is interested in the topics of Identity Management, Crowdsourcing and Social Business Computing. His working style is structured, organized and goal-oriented. He has experiences in working with international teams (Brazil, Europe, India, US) and a wide-ranging knowledge in Web engineering.

Research Interests

Stefan's research focuses on Trustworthy Social Networks. He is interested in the topics of Identity and Social Relationship Management.
