I was born in Dnepropetrowsk (Ukraine), where i spent first 18 years of my life. Since the childhood i was interested in computers and technology. At school I actively participated in computer science contests and won the 2. prize by Small National Academy of Science of Ukraine. The project i have developed helped teachers to manage examination results and was in use for more then 8 years. 2002 I finished the Lyceum of Information Technologies and started my study at National University at the Department of Applied Mathematics.

In a year i moved together with my family to Chemnitz, Germany. After the university preparatory course i began my study at Technical University of Chemnitz. As i had already been interested for computer science before the choice of study course was clear for me. I finished the intemediate diploma with excellence and was invited to join the German National Academic Foundation. In addition to study i worked as student assistant and held practical courses on Algorithms and Data Structures, Data Protection and Security, Theoretical Computer Science etc. I gained much software and Web programming experience by participating in various projects with industry partners like My Motion, Christof Gerhardt and Partners (CGP) etc.

2010 i finished my study and joined the Distributed and Self-organizing Systems Research Group where i'm working as research assistant and writing my PhD thesis till now.

My research interests focus on mashups and component-based Web application development, service composition and emerging security standards. I'm also interested in theoretical foundations of computer science, algorithms and data structures, performance analysis and cryptography.
